Peak Fitness is a membership based, semi-private, functional strength training facility.  Our mission is to continually influence you to take steps in improving your health and fitness while providing you with measurable successes in the areas that are important to you. Whether it be increasing strength, mobility, weight loss or recovering from an injury.

A CLIENT-FOCUSED APPROACH TO TRAINING


Semi-private training is a comprehensive training model that is able to produce great results for clients, while still remaining cost effective. This style of training starts by assessing your fitness level on day-1 and gradually progressing with you, at your pace, in the direction of your goals, while accounting for every milestone you achieve along the way.

Semi-private training retains the benefits of the customized programming you get with 1-on-1 training. You’re just sharing the time of a personal trainer with up to 2 other people. Clients receive all the attention they need and room to thrive. It’s a team-oriented approach and it’s highly effective. You may be working out side by side with a person who is rehabbing an injury, training for powerlifting, improving body composition, a new mom working her way back to pre-baby fitness, or maybe a recent retiree that trains to improve their quality of life.

Everybody is here for their own reasons, working on their own program, experiencing and enjoying the camaraderie of working hard together; while being exposed to different training styles in a non-intimidating, motivational environment.

COACHES


Niko

Niko is the owner of Peak Fitness and received his certification in 2015, following a decade of experience both in sport and in the gym.  He opened Peak Fitness in 2019 with the desire to grow as a professional in the fitness industry and provide his clientele with better service, value and a community where they can excel.

Over the course of his career, his results driven approach has made him a sought after coach and exposed him to a broad range of clientele. An adept problem solver, he has worked with clients with limitations such as severe disc herniation, frozen shoulder, knee injuries and major mobility restrictions.

His approach to training encompasses these experiences and tends to rely heavily on the fundamentals of functional training, incorporating movements that suit each individual to help them achieve their set goal.

Andrew

Andrew has been a personal trainer for over 5 years following 3 years of experience working in physical rehabilitation. Following his playing career as a semi professional hockey goaltender, Andrew continued his involvement in the sport, coaching goaltenders at all levels for the past 15 years. 

Andrew is a graduate of the Physiotherapist Assistant program at Trios School of Business and Technology and has since become a Certified Personal Training Specialist as well as obtaining a Nutrition Coaching certification from Precision Nutrition, one of the most widely recognized nutrition authorities.  This combination of experience has quickly made Andrew a highly sought after trainer for athletes and the general population alike.

He has helped many young athletes develop their performance safely and effectively. He has experience assisting injured athletes in their return to play. He has worked with many general population clients to achieve a wide variety of goals ranging from weight loss to muscle growth and performance goals.
